Food Safety Level 1

Entry level basic food safety skills to work in the food processing, food service and food retailing sectors.

This is a self paced on-line training module that you allow you to understand the basics of food hygiene. 

The course will be available to you for 14 days and you must complete an online multiple choice questionnaire at the end of the training.

On completion of the online exam a training certificate will be issued to your email and if appropriate to your manager's email also.

Food Safety 

Food Safety Level 1 gives the trainee the entry level basic food safety skills to work in the food processing, food service and food retailing sectors. Learn about basic food hygiene, hand washing and the legal responsibility placed on individuals working in these sectors. Course covered the requirements prescribed by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland

All staff are required to pass this entry level training programme to work part-time or full-time in a food business.

In total you will learn the leading 20 food safety skills that you will need to practice every day at work to ensure that all the food that is served to customers is safe.
